Pupils receive two hours of PE timetabled per week as set out in the National Curriculum. Children are given the opportunity to swim during KS2 and we aim for most pupils leaving the school to be able to swim at least 25m. Pupils in Y3, 4, 5 & 6 swim at Woodhouse Close Leisure Centre.
Pupils achievements in swimming are tracked using Swimphony then children in upper Key stage 2 not on track to meet the expected standard in swimming receive top up lessons at the end of the academic year using funds from our sports premium grant.

79% of our current Year 6 cohort are on track to meet the expected standard at the end of this academic year.
